Deal Review Analyst

Dataminr is looking for an analyst to support the accounting organization in reviewing and approving customer deals. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, sales, finance, and legal, helping the team close deals efficiently while ensuring that adequate documentation in regards to deal terms are within company policy for the approval process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working under deadline pressure, and able to balance deal velocity with commercial and financial discipline.

The opportunity

• Review contracts and related deal documents for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
• Route deals through the approval/close workflow in the CRM, coordinating with finance, legal, and sales leadership as needed
• Own opportunity close/won turnaround time, proactively flagging bottlenecks and escalating exceptions
• Support quarter-end and year-end close by prioritizing and expediting in-flight deals
• Identify recurring deal documentation issues and recommend process or policy improvements
• Maintain accurate deal records and reporting in the CRM systems

What you bring

• 2-4 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, accounting/finance, or a related field, ideally at a SaaS or subscription-based company
• Working knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., NetSuite)
• Strong analytical skills, with comfort reviewing all deal related documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of deals under tight deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain and enforce policy
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $62,400 - $87,500. You will also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus and Company equity. Actual salary will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
