As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to bring their experience, ideas, and perspective to meaningful projects and help shape what comes next at DataOne.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an Environmental Compliance & Training Coordinator to support environmental compliance programs, regulatory reporting, and employee training initiatives at our Vineland, New Jersey facility.\nIn this role, you will work closely with Data Center Operations, Engineering, Facilities Maintenance, and Risk & Safety to coordinate environmental inspections, maintain regulatory documentation, support compliance programs, and administer training records. You will also contribute to environmental management initiatives involving fuel systems, air emissions, waste management, water systems, and other regulated facility activities.\nThis opportunity is well suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable about environmental regulations, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport environmental compliance programs in accordance with applicable EPA, NJDEP, and local regulatory requirements.\nMaintain environmental permits, inspection records, compliance calendars, regulatory documentation, and reporting schedules.\nCoordinate environmental compliance activities involving emergency generators, air emissions, fuel storage, and regulated materials.\nSupport spill prevention programs, including SPCC documentation, containment inspections, and environmental preparedness activities.\nCoordinate compliance activities related to hazardous and nonhazardous waste, chemical storage, stormwater, wastewater, and recycling.\nMaintain environmental documentation associated with cooling systems, refrigerant management, and applicable EPA Section 608 requirements.\nConduct environmental inspections, participate in compliance audits, and coordinate follow-up activities with internal teams and qualified service providers.\nSupport EHS software administration, including compliance tracking, inspection records, incident documentation, and corrective action management.\nCoordinate environmental and workplace safety training schedules, employee orientation requirements, certifications, and refresher training in collaboration with the Safety Coordinator.\nPrepare compliance reports, maintain training records, and collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and vendors to support consistent environmental practices.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, EHS, or industrial regulatory compliance.\nWorking knowledge of EPA, NJDEP, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.\nExperience with environmental inspections, regulatory documentation, compliance reporting, or corrective action tracking.\nFamiliarity with environmental requirements involving air emissions, fuel storage, spill prevention, waste management, or stormwater.\nExperience using EHS software, compliance management platforms, or electronic recordkeeping systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.\nExperience with NJDEP permitting, air emissions reporting, SPCC programs, stormwater compliance, or environmental regulatory inspections.\nRelevant training or certifications, such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, SPCC, Stormwater Inspector, or EPA Section 608, as applicable.\nExperience administering EHS management systems, coordinating employee compliance training, or supporting ISO 14001 environmental management practices.\nWe recognize that experience and skills can come from different paths.
