You will ensure that the network meets the availability and performance requirements of critical applications and industrial systems. Your responsibilities will cover the entire network lifecycle, from target architecture and technology selection to implementation standards, operational monitoring, automation, and continuous infrastructure hardening.\nYour Responsibilities:\nNetwork Architecture & Design:\nDefine and maintain the target network architecture across LAN, WAN, data centers, and remote sites. \nDesign segmentation strategies using VLAN, VRF, and micro segmentation to isolate IT, industrial, physical security, and guest environments. \nDesign routing, switching, wireless, and interconnection solutions. \nDefine redundancy and failover architectures to ensure high availability. \nProduce and maintain technical documentation, including network topologies, addressing plans, flow matrices, cabling, and rack layouts. \nEvaluate network technologies and vendors. \nLead proofs of concept and technical evaluations.\nNetwork Security & Resilience:\nDefine and enforce firewall policies, filtering rules, and inter-zone traffic controls. \nDesign and maintain secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity using VPN, SD-WAN, and zero-trust access. \nImplement network access control and authentication mechanisms, including 802.1X, RADIUS, and certificate-based access. \nContribute to business continuity and infrastructure resilience through redundant links, failover testing, and recovery procedures. \nParticipate in security reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or equivalent frameworks.\nOperations, Monitoring & Incident Management:\nEstablish and continuously improve network monitoring and alerting for availability, saturation, latency, packet loss, and hardware health. \nDefine alert thresholds and escalation procedures. \nLead the diagnosis and resolution of complex network incidents as the final technical escalation point. \nConduct post-incident reviews and establish corrective action plans. \nPlan and supervise maintenance windows, firmware upgrades, and equipment replacements. \nAutomation & Industrialization:\nStandardize network device configurations across multiple sites. \nDefine and enforce reproducible configuration baselines. \nAutomate provisioning, configuration management, and compliance checks using Ansible or equivalent tools. \nMaintain configuration backups, change traceability, and rollback capabilities. \nEnsure consistency between technical documentation and the actual deployed network infrastructure. \nCoordination & Continuous Improvement:\nCollaborate closely with development, infrastructure, physical security, and field teams. \nProvide network expertise for projects involving new sites, data center changes, telephony, video surveillance, and industrial equipment. \nProduce regular reporting on network availability, service quality, and infrastructure programs. \nMaintain active technology watch across networking, network security, and automation. \nIdentify and recommend relevant technology and architecture improvements. \nRequirements\nRequirements:\nYou hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Networks, Telecommunications, or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience.\nYou have:\nMinimum 7 years of experience in network engineering or architecture. \nProven experience managing multi-site and/or data center network environments. \nStrong experience designing and operating highly available network infrastructures. \nExperience working with critical production environments. \nIndustry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent would be an advantage. \nPreferred language
