This requires understanding the Lakehouse and surrounding ecosystem of tools and applications. \n\nApply Data management lifecycle principles: data modeling, ingestion, integration, and transformation.\n\nResponsibilities will include presentations, demos, benchmarks, and executing proof of concepts which demonstrate the value proposition of superior performance and TCO.\n\nResults and impact:\nBecome a “Trusted Advisor” by the customer - Be viewed as an SME for analytics and data engineering on Lakehouse platforms.\n\nGuide customers on effective Data Management and Data Governance best practices. \n\nLead clients through evaluating and adopting DataPelago’s product(s).\n\nDemonstrate the value proposition through measurable performance and TCO advantages over competitors. \n\nInfluencing and authoring customer reference architectures to include DataPelago.\n\nEngagement with the customers technical community, including external influencers such as Systems Integrators and consultants, through workshops, demos, benchmarks and proof of concepts.\n\nCollaboration and teamwork with other members of the sales and product teams, leading to customer wins and expansion. \n\nMentoring junior Solution Architects to develop and enhance their skills and experience.\n\nSkills and Experience:\nCommunications effectiveness. An ability to share technical concepts through presentations and white boarding.\n\nDeep domain expertise in Lakehouse’s (Delta Lake and Iceberg), data engineering, analytics, SQL, AI/ML.\n\nData Governance and Management experience with the following: Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), Delta Merge, Hive Metastore, and Data Pipelines. \n\nArchitecture design and implementation experience.
