Every day is different, and you will be constantly delivering value to clients and expanding your skillset.\nYou will be responsible for leading fieldwork for audits of controls as part of client engagements, where you will be assessing the effectiveness of their controls according to established audit assessment frameworks for IT systems. This includes using established tools and methodologies to develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, document and support results.\nYou will be expected to take a leadership role within your engagement teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to junior team members. This includes delegating tasks, reviewing their work, and helping to develop their technical and professional skills through on-the-job training and feedback.\nEngagements are conducted with clients in a wide range of industries and government sectors. These engagements include financial audits, third-party assurance (such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits), IT SOX/ICFR and other IT controls advisory and assurance projects. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver value to clients and stakeholders.\nYou may also provide risk consulting services such as conducting client risk interviews surrounding IT functions, co-facilitating IT risk workshops, developing risk management policies and frameworks and assisting with risk mitigation strategies. You will work strategically with your team members to develop an understanding of the firm’s business and the clients you are serving.\nEnough about us, let’s talk about you\nYou are someone with these required skills, experience & qualifications:\n6+ years’ experience (or 4+ years in a professional services firm) in IT audit, IT internal controls, or other related field, with a specific focus on General IT Controls (GITCs)\nKnowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other internal control frameworks\nHas completed or has the intention to complete training leading to the acquisition of a professional designation (CPA, CISA, CIA or CISSP)\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in an Accounting or an IT-related discipline\nExperience auditing internal controls under financial audit regulatory requirements (PCAOB, CPAB)\nExcellent communication and team skills\nAn inclusive team player who is passionate, motivated and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment\nDedicated to providing meaningful service to our clients\nSome level of travel may be required (including the ability to be in-person, when required, at our offices in downtown Toronto) \nIt would be great for you to have some of these additional qualities as well:\nExperience auditing application systems (SAP (ECC/S4HANA), Workday, Netsuite, PeopleSoft), operating systems (UNIX, Windows), database management systems (Oracle, SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)\nWillingness to leverage emerging technologies and AI in your day-to-day duties\nTotal Rewards\nThe salary range for this position is $74,000 - $129,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
