You’ll guide technical discovery, lead cross-functional teams, ensure delivery excellence, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and partners. You’ll also play a key role in preparing for deployment and supporting a stable, high-performing launch.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitecture & Solution Design\nDefine and document the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring seamless integration between Sitecore CMS and Microsoft D365 Commerce, as well as other enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, search, etc.).\nEstablish integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, middleware, etc.) aligned with enterprise standards.\nLead technical discovery workshops and contribute to solution blueprinting.\nValidate non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, security, and compliance.\nDevelop and maintain architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical design documentation.\nTechnical Leadership & Delivery\nLead and manage cross-functional development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.\nCollaborate closely with the Business Analyst to refine, validate, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nDevelop detailed sprint plans and technical work breakdown structures aligned with Agile/Scrum practices.\nConduct regular technical design reviews and code quality reviews.\nOversee environment setup, configuration management, and CI/CD pipeline readiness.\nEnsure adherence to development standards, DevOps practices, and governance controls.\nDrive technical issue resolution during build, SIT, UAT, performance testing, and hypercare phases.\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nEnsure performance optimization, caching strategies, and security hardening across platforms.\nStakeholder & Vendor Management\nServe as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams.\nReview vendor technical deliverables and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.\nProvide executive-level updates on technical progress, risks, and decisions.\nSupport change adoption, technical enablement, and knowledge transfer activities during hypercare.\nOperational Readiness\nDefine deployment, release, and rollback strategies.\nSupport production readiness reviews.\nEstablish monitoring, logging, and incident response processes.\nGuide post-launch stabilization and optimization efforts.\nAbout the team\nWe are seeking an experienced Technical Lead/Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to lead a large-scale web and e-commerce transformation initiative.\nThis program involves replacing an existing CMS and e-commerce solution with a modern technology stack powered by Sitecore CMS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, including multiple new enterprise integrations. The project spans discovery, solution design, architecture, implementation, testing, and hypercare. The ideal candidate brings strong architectural leadership, hands-on platform knowledge (particularly Microsoft D365), and experience delivering complex digital commerce transformations.\nEnough about us, let’s talk about you\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Commerce\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (including Retail/Commerce modules) and POS.\nDeep understanding of D365 APIs, data entities, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), and integration patterns.\nExperience integrating D365 with CMS platforms (including Sitecore or similar).\nExperience with D365 connectors, Power Platform, and Azure integration services.\nKnowledge of pricing engines, promotions, catalog management, order management, and customer data flows.\nFamiliarity with POS, ERP and CRM integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem.\nExperience with security configuration, roles, and identity management within D365.\nExperience with headless commerce or composable commerce architectures.\nExperience enabling Agentic Commerce journeys leveraging Microsoft ecosystem\nIntegration & Cloud\nStrong understanding of API management, RESTful services, JSON, OAuth 2.0, and SSO integration.\nExperience with Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Azure DevOps).\nExperience designing event-driven and microservices-based architectures.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD automation pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.\nExperience implementing secure authentication and authorization patterns.\nProject Delivery & Leadership\nProven experience leading cross-functional technical teams (developers, QA, DevOps).\nStrong Agile/Scrum delivery experience, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.\nExperience delivering large-scale digital commerce transformations.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.\nProven ability to manage technical risks and ensure delivery quality.\nDemonstrated experience implementing enterprise search solutions or composable digital experience platforms.\nExperience with performance testing, load testing, and production stabilization.\nStrong vendor coordination and multi-system integration management experience.\nFor roles based in Quebec: bilingual proficiency in English and French is required due to national and global client interactions.\nTotal Rewards\nThe salary range for this position is $90,000 - $175,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
