We actively encourage professional growth by exposing our employees to different industries, tools, and technologies, broadening their scope in the process.\nAs part of the Talan Group, we take this approach to the next level, adding international mobility to our employees’ career journeys.\nJoin a team where your work will have a direct impact on both our clients and our journey.\nRequirements\nWhat We’re Looking For\nYou bring the following qualities & experiences to the role:\nMaster's or Doctorate in a quantitative field.\n\n5+ years of industry experience in data platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.\n\nProven expertise in data platforms: deep hands-on experience designing and operating platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or AWS Data Services including governance (e.g. Unity Catalog, Purview), security, networking, and cost management.\n\nStrong cloud engineering & DevOps foundations: expert-level Terraform (or equivalent IaC), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and platform automation. You treat platforms as products and infrastructure as code.\n\nYou work AI-assisted by default: daily, hands-on use of LLMs and coding agents (Claude, GPT, Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, ...) as part of how you design, write, and review code and the judgment to know when their output is wrong.\n\nLeadership & mentorship: a track record of successfully leading and coaching engineering teams. Your experience includes driving internal projects, defining technical roadmaps, and prioritising work to align with quarterly goals.
