This includes monitoring production and quality of employees’ work, process improvements and clear communication of expectations. This position supports and coaches front line talent to ensure the highest level of service to clients and ultimately the patient lives we impact.\nYou will:\nSupervise day-to-day team performance, conduct 1:1’s and performance assessments.\n\nResponsible for reviewing and approving time sheets and time off requests.\n\nReceive, merge and track quality, productivity, and feedback for all team members.\n\nProvide a summary of productivity findings on a daily basis, including education on time management and best coding practices.\n\nProvide coaching and feedback on achieving production and quality standards of the role.\n\nReport trends for education opportunities to management for review and/or action.\n\nMotivate team members through effective training, supplemental materials and coaching to improve quality and production.\n\nApply guidelines and concepts as indicated.\n\nServe as resource and subject matter expert to staff.\n\nEnsure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.\n\nCompletes all special projects and other duties as assigned. \n\nWhat you will bring to the table: \nAHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC)\n\nExtensive knowledge of ICD -9/10\n\n2 years coding experience, required.\n\nPeople Leader experience managing a team of employees.\n\nFamiliarity with HCC coding.\n\nA strong knowledge base of medical terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology and disease processes.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining adherence to high quality standards.\n\nMust be able to follow instructions, meet deadlines and work independently.\n\nAbility to be flexible in work environment.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a remote environment and time management skills.\n\nWorking knowledge of the business use of computer hardware and software to ensure effectiveness and quality of the processing and security of the data.\n\nWe are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive.
