Come join us!\nWe are looking for a data-driven and operationally minded Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to serve as a key architect of our financial planning and reporting infrastructure.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a data-driven and operationally minded Senior Strategic Financial Analyst to serve as a key architect of our financial planning and reporting infrastructure.\nIn this high-visibility role, you will go beyond traditional reporting to act as a strategic partner to our GTM, R&D, and Operations leaders. You will not only track the numbers but also define how we track them-bridging the gap between our operations systems and finance systems to ensure data integrity. If you are a proactive problem-solver with 5+ years of experience who loves building models, optimizing deal structures, and uncovering insights that drive revenue efficiency, we want to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Strategic Planning & Metric Architecture\nKPI Definition: Design and maintain a comprehensive set of operational and SaaS metrics (e.g., unit costs, customer gross margin, ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Magic Number) to track performance across Revenue, R&D, Delivery and Support.\nFinancial Modeling: Build and refine sophisticated financial models to analyze revenue streams, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and sales team productivity.\nFP&A Leadership: Partner with the VP of Finance to drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, incorporating real-time insights from operational data.\n2. GTM Operations & Deal Desk Partnership\nDeal Strategy: Serve as the financial partner to the Deal Desk and Sales Leadership; analyze pricing, deal profitability, non-standard contract terms, and revenue recognition implications, provide suggestions and input to define and shape the contract and order form structure\nCompensation Analysis: Analyze the ROI of sales compensation plans and GTM organizational structure to ensure alignment with company growth targets.\nAd-Hoc Strategy: Conduct deep-dive analyses on specific business questions (e.g., new market entry, product margin analysis) to support executive decision-making.\n3. Systems, Data Governance & Process Improvement\nCRM to Finance Integration: Support the integration between GTM systems (CRM) and financial systems (ERP/Planning tools).\nData Governance: Define the \"source of truth\" for sales data. Implement quality controls to ensure the accurate flow of booking and revenue data into financial reporting.\nProcess Engineering: Develop standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for financial analysis to move the department from ad-hoc reporting to scalable, automated frameworks.\nRequirements\nExperience: 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Sales Operations and equivalent strong analytics experience for business strategies.\nIndustry Background: Prior experience in Enterprise SaaS company and prior private equity or investment banking experience preferred.\nTechnical Stack: \nAdvanced proficiency in Excel (complex modeling) is required.\nStrong familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, (reporting, dashboards, object relationships) is essential.\nExperience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Python) and Planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Adaptive Insights) is a major plus.\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Math, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. MBA or master’s degree is a plus.\nSoft Skills: Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable narratives for non-financial stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Product). Strong communication skills and excellent writing skills.
