Identify material defects early, strengthen regression coverage and provide clear quality evidence so that releases can be assessed against business and technical risks. Key responsibilities • Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria, identify gaps and design risk-based tests for complex business journeys. • Execute functional, integration, exploratory and regression tests, including exception paths and recovery scenarios. • Develop and maintain automated tests in the agreed framework, prioritising repeatable, valuable regression coverage. • Use API checks and SQL validation where relevant to verify interfaces, transaction states and underlying data. • Investigate defects, provide reproducible evidence and work with developers and analysts to resolve root causes. • Maintain test data and coverage records, review automation reliabil
