The role is instrumental in establishing a culture of cost awareness while enabling innovation and business growth through efficient cloud adoption.\nJob Description:\nCloud Financial Management\nMonitor and analyze cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and OCI environments.\nDevelop and maintain cloud cost allocation, chargeback, and showback models.\nPrepare monthly cloud financial reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.\nSupport annual budget planning and ongoing cloud spend forecasting.\nTrack cloud consumption trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.\nCost Optimization\nIdentify underutilized, idle, or oversized cloud resources.\nRecommend and implement optimization initiatives including:Rightsizing computing resources\nStorage lifecycle optimization\nResource scheduling and automation\nReserved capacity and savings plans\nBackup and retention optimization\n\nQuantify financial impact and realized savings from optimization initiatives.\nTrack and report cost savings achieved through FinOps programs.\nService & Operational Support\nMonitor and manage the Cloud Infrastructure service requests.\nTriage, prioritize, and coordinate resolution of cloud-related incidents, requests, and operational issues.\nWork with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Application, Security, and vendor teams to ensure timely ticket resolution.\nProvide cost analysis and financial impact assessments for cloud service requests, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.\nTrack recurring support trends and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and service improvement.\nMaintain documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures related to cloud financial operations and cloud service delivery.\nEnsure cloud service requests comply with established governance, budgeting, tagging, and cost allocation standards.\nGovernance & Compliance\nDevelop and enforce cloud tagging and cost attribution standards.\nPartner with cloud platform teams to ensure financial accountability of cloud resources.\nSupport Cloud Governance and Cloud Operating Model initiatives.\nAssist in establishing policies, guardrails, and reporting standards related to cloud financial management.\nReporting & Analytics\nBuild dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, Cloud Health, native cloud tools, or equivalent platforms.\nAnalyze cost drivers, trends, business consumption patterns, and forecasting models.\nProduce cloud KPI and FinOps metrics including:Cost per application\nCost per business unit\nBudget versus actual spending\nOptimization savings realized\n\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with Finance teams during planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.\nAdvise application owners and business stakeholders on cloud cost implications.\nSupport business cases and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for cloud projects.\nProvide cost estimates for new cloud deployments, cloud migrations, and infrastructure modifications.\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nAutomate reporting and cost data collection processes.\nImprove cost visibility through tagging, dashboards, and self-service reporting.\nSupport continuous improvement of the organization's FinOps maturity and Cloud Operating Model.\nDevelop scripts, reports, and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and cloud cost transparency.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills and Education\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.\n2+ years of experience in cloud platforms, cloud operations, financial analysis, infrastructure operations, or FinOps.\nExperience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or OCI cost management tools.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExperience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.\nUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, backup, and disaster recovery.\nExperience working with IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow, Freshservice, or equivalent ticketing systems.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbout Dauch:\nDauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
