This role focuses on electrical and controls systems while also supporting mechanical and hydraulic repairs as needed to keep production running safely and efficiently.Job Description:\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport production operations with maintenance and repair of electrical, controls, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.\nTroubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled equipment, machine automation, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networks.\nSupport automated equipment including 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, robots, refining machines, and sintering-related equipment.\nDiagnose machine faults using structured troubleshooting methods and return equipment to service quickly and safely.\nCapable of connecting to machine PLC to diagnose problems on machines.\nRead and work from electrical schematics, ladder logic, mechanical drawings, and equipment documentation.\nAssist with controls modifications, machine improvements, and automation reliability projects.\nResearch and identify replacement parts, components, and controls hardware as needed.\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per work orders and maintenance schedules.\nFollow all safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and plant operating standards.\nComplete maintenance logs, checklists, and basic documentation to communicate work performed and equipment status.\nRequired Skills and Education\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nStrong background in industrial electrical and controls troubleshooting\nExperience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls\nAbility to read and understand electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics\nWorking knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems\nExperience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment\nAbility to work independently on the shop floor and prioritize production needs\nGood communication skills and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset\nPreferred Experience\nManufacturing or industrial maintenance experience\nCNC machine and robotic automation exposure\nSintering, heat-treat, or high-temperature process equipment experience (preferred but not required)\nAbout Dauch:\nDauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
