This person should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nJob Description:\nDevelops, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.\n\nAnalyzes manufacturing operations to identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.\n\nLeads continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and waste reduction methodologies.\n\nConducts process capability studies and drives improvements to meet customer and internal quality requirements.\n\nDevelops and maintains standard work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and process specifications.\n\nLeads manufacturing engineering activities for new product introductions and program launches.\n\nCollaborates with Product Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to support successful launches.\n\nConducts PFMEA reviews and support Control Plan development.\n\nDevelops production layouts, equipment specifications, tooling requirements, and process flow diagrams.\n\nSupports prototype and pilot builds and ensure readiness for production launch.\n\nProvides technical leadership and mentoring to Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Technicians.\n\nPartners with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Environmental Health & Safety teams.\n\nLeads cross-functional teams in solving complex manufacturing and process-related issues.\n\nSupports workforce training and process development initiatives.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills and Education\nBachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.\n\n8+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly.\n\nExperience leading a team of Engineers.\n\nAPQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.\n\nIATF 16949 quality management systems.\n\nCAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent).\n\nStrong CAPEX management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.\n\nKnowledge of robotics, automation, vision systems, and PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.\n\nExperience with Industrial engineering principles and time studies.\n\nManufacturing execution systems (MES) and ERP systems.\n\nAbout Dauch:\nDauch Corporation is a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier serving the global automotive industry with a powertrain-agnostic product portfolio that supports electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles.
