This role focuses on optimizing production efficiency, improving product quality, and ensuring the reliability and safety of our automated equipment.Job Description:\nJob Responsibilities**\n* Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex control systems, including PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial networking.\n* Develop and execute automation strategies to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce cycle times, and minimize operational costs.\n* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to control systems, robotic cells, and automated machinery on the production floor.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, maintenance, quality, IT) to define project requirements, integrate new technologies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\n* Oversee the specification, procurement, and installation of new automation equipment and control components.\n* Develop and maintain detailed documentation for control systems, including electrical schematics, PLC programs, HMI screens, and operational manuals.\n* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.\n* Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies in all automation projects.\n* Participate in root cause analysis for production downtime and implement preventative measures.\n* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in industrial automation and controls.\nRequired Skills and Education\n* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
