They have chosen Dautom as their trusted partner for their upcoming projects.\n\nJOB SUMMARY (Major functions of the position)\n 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a fabrication environment\nBachelor of Science Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program\nProficient in Revit AutoCAD RAM Structural System and Microsoft Office Suite\nExperience in Risa 2D, Risa 3D, SAP 2000\n\nAdditional Desired Qualifications:\nS.E. preferred but not required\n10+ years of experience in the structural analysis and design of structural projects preferred\nExperience in ETABS, is preferred but not required\nResponsibilities will primarily include but are not limited to the following:\nPerforming structural analysis and engaging in the design of steel and/or transportation structures for both new construction and rehabilitation\nPreparing technical/design reports and calculations packages\nPreparing construction drawings and specifications\nAttending design meetings and site inspections with our clients, subconsultants, and partners on an as- needed basis\nInteracting and collaborating with our in-house drafters and other engineer\nDesigning various structures and producing contract documents for various building types, retaining walls, foundations, and wastewater treatment plant\nCommunicates with other departments to ensure all documentation required is contained within the tender submission.\nPrepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.\nPrepares construction budget by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.\nEvaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.\nObtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.\nMaintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.\nResolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.\nPrepares draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tender are included\nInterprets & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.\nConstrues and follow company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.\nReviews the design outputs for compliance with contractual requirement.\nGathers opinion of the project team and fabrication team on the engineering details to prepare final controlled documents of tender\nAssess the impact due to design changes and revision works due to client instructions.\nEnsures the project output meeting to the requirement of codes and specifications.\nWould be responsible for the filling of various tenders with all the formalities.\nMaintains quality service by following organization standards.\nMaintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
