Brief:\nThe Sr. Planning Engineer will be responsible for supporting engineering team to deliver the projects on schedule.\nHe should ensure that the projects schedule and deliveries are on time, as per the scope and project budget.\nThe scope is to create and implement plans that assist Engineering team to achieve the projects schedules.\nJob Description\nThe candidate must possess expertise/experience in the following domains:\nInvolve in planning and monitoring of all activities within the Engineering projects programs.\nAssist in analyzing project specifications and finding cost-effective ways to achieve the deliverables.\nPrepare the baseline program, schedules, milestones and deliverables as per project management plan.\nPrepare full projects portfolio plan (80 plus projects) in coordination with project managers and vendors.\nAnalyzing technical drawings and providing durations and milestones and overall project plan accordingly.\nPrepare look ahead plan for the execution team.\nGenerate and update progress report of the project in a weekly or monthly basis.\nAble to do critical path analysis at project, program and portfolio levels\nPrepare forecasted cash flow for projects and portfolio and report on actual Vs Planned spends and progress.\nIdentifying the project program risks and propose mitigation strategies.\nMonitor the cash flow and tracking schedule of the project.\nPrepare forecasts resulting from significant deviations from scheduled baselines.\nTracking and analyzing field results based on the planned progress and actual progress.\nDetermined and develop the most suitable methods for the projects.\nInvolve throughout the development stage of the projects and present at site during construction phase to oversee procedures.\nEstimate a timescale for the projects and ensure that the outlined deadlines are met.\nExcellent verbal communication and presentation skills.\nAnalysis and Reporting\nThe candidate must meet the following qualifications:\nbachelors degree in civil engineering or an equivalent degree.\nMinimum 8-10 years experience in construction field.\nFluent in English (Arabic is advantage).\nPlanning and project management skills and software\nStrong technical knowledge.\nStrong problem-solving
