May\nlead smaller project client meetings and take ownership of report structure and content.\nCoordinates teams to prepare projects deliverables and applicable planning authorities requirements\nand coordinate with various disciplines technical input and output into a project or a proposal.\nInitiates and drives innovative approaches to efficient project delivery. E.g. improved site analysis\nassessment or site planning, due diligence and high-level developer assessment.\nPrepares/reviews and understands datasets to correlate population projections against market demands\nand supply.\nPrepares Methodology for small scale proposals without direct supervision and able to understand and\ncarry out the necessary internal processes to obtain approvals for proposal submission.\nLeads specialty topics / interests in urban planning e.g. wellness planning / placemaking\nUp to date with the current industry trends, approaches, tools and methods\nThe candidate must possess expertise/experience in the following domains:\nProven leadership capability.\nBachelors degree in Urban Planning and design, urban policy, sustainable development or equivalent.\nMasters degree preferred.\n10+ years of related urban planning / master planning experience is required,\nProfessional membership such as RTPI, AICP, PIA, CIP, SIP or equivalent preferred.\nIncumbent should have a broad general technical and business background such as experience in\ndeveloping city visioning, theming, and benchmarking.\nExperience in policy development and governance is a plus.\nExperience of planning the MENA region especially in the GCC area.\nGood knowledge of data collection and research capabilities and ability to analyze qualitative and\nquantitative data.\nHas solid understanding of various scale of planning projects and determine differences and\nrequirements and communicates effectively.\nThorough understanding of local and international practice and test standards for Urban planning.\nHas the ability to carry out baseline assessment, analyse various data and develop criteria for the\nassessment of master plans\nHas the ability to develop implementation and phasing planning\nHas sound understanding of planning / environmental governance and policy and can communicate\nplanning / environmental governance and policy and make recommendations to clients where relevant.\nSoftware requirements include indesign, Adobe photoshop, MS office (excel, word, power point).\nStrong eye for detail coupled with a methodical and organized approach;\nYou will be a forward-thinking individual ready to change the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the\nteam on how we can manage and deliver our projects.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills will be well utilised and your ability to develop\ninternal and external working relationships is
