Without this critical role, our efforts to provide “unreasonable hospitality” would be impossible. The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales department by way of completing administrative duties & confirmation calls to finalize event details. Additionally, the Event Coordinator participates in the exciting sales process and is responsible for a portion of booking our valuable social market.\nYOU WILL BE AN OUTSTANDING EVENT COORDINATOR IF:\nYou are friendly and demonstrate a “You Got It” attitude\nYou demonstrate good decision-making skills and can communicate effectively with guests, Sales Team and Management Team\nYou can communicate clearly and regularly with Operations, the Sales Team and guests\nYou can clearly verbalize guests needs to Operations and other Team Members\nYou have strong organization skills\nYou have strong verbal skills\nYou are able to analyze basic data to help Operations and the Sales Team with decision making\nYou can read and communicate in English\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITES:\nGo above & beyond to ensure the needs of each Special Events Guest are met, communicating all requests from host to ensure all contracts are updated accordingly.\nTake RFP’s and calls for social events, converting them to closed “won” business.\nConduct Site tours as needed.\nEnsure accurate and prompt distribution of all paperwork for “pop up parties” working through management team to ensure they are staffed to support.\nProvide administrative support to the Sales Department including follow up on calls/emails/tasks with Event Host after the sale is “closed won”, communicating to Operations any changes to BEOs or updated signed contracts.\nFollow up on AR’s, collect payment information, and close out any remaining balances.\nSubmit check requests/invoices as needed.\nEnsure Operations has the most up-to-date BEO for each event.\nOffer “upsell” opportunities to Event Hosts after sale is “closed won”. Because we expect you to “Act like you own it” your job includes everything listed above PLUS the ever popular “other” duties as assigned”.
