They are also responsible for the daily review of customer order and the execution of all ECR planning related tasks.\n\nDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required:\nReview MRP daily and action any new requirements for finished good items.\nReview MRP daily to insure the appropriate WIP schedules are in place to support both customer orders and the forecast.\nWork closely with the Production Manager on any scheduling issues and to create or adjust minimum stocking requirements and order sizes as needed.\nWork with accounting, stockroom clerks and production supervisors as needed on inventory and scheduling issues.\nUtilize planning tools to ensure that each work center has sufficient work as needed.\nManage all planning tasks of the Engineering Change process.\nReview incoming customer orders daily and provide updated ship dates as needed.\nAct as the backup for the Planner / Expeditor.\nOther duties as assigned.\nLEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:\nEmployee may work independently, but work is often reviewed by immediate supervisor.\nEmployee exercises discretion within area of responsibility.\nEmployee advises others within the organization on matters within area of expertise.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nNone.\nREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES :\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nThorough understanding of multi-level BOM’s, routings MRP logic required.\nMust be able to work independently.\nMust have good organizational skills.\nAble to read and communicate effectively in English.\nPosition requires employee to utilize and understand simple formatting and use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. \n3-5 Years scheduling and planning experience required. \nPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment required.\nGP experience a plus.\nBasic, introductory on-the-job training.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.\n\nPhysical Demands/Efforts\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk working on computers.\nSome periods of standing and walking through the factory.\nOccasional physical exertion including some lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.\n\nMental & Visual Demands\nWork is routine and consistent from day to day. \nWork requires some degree of visual effort for periods of time. \nKnowledge of other languages a plus.\n\nWork Environment and Hazards\nSome areas of the building are not climate controlled.\nWorking environment is typical of an office setting.\nAbsence of hazards. \nAMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT\nDavid Clark Company complies with all aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and state disability laws.
