If you find yourself constantly improving the way things work, asking thoughtful questions, or getting excited about connecting user needs with system solutions-there’s a good chance you’ll be a great fit for our team.\nThe Position - You will be required to:\nWork within the application development team to help shape, deliver, and enhance internal systems and digital tools that support our Homebuyers, Sales Teams, Builders, Partners, and overall business operations.\nYou will:\nAssist the Product Owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, team capacity, and strategic direction.\nWrite clear user stories and acceptance criteria for new features, enhancements, and workflow improvements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams-including development, QA, UX, operations, and stakeholders-to ensure alignment and shared understanding of requirements.\nHelp identify and triage system bugs, documenting them with detailed reproduction steps and expected results.\nParticipate in feature proposal discussions/creations, cycle planning, standups, backlog refinement, and reviews.\nConduct research, gather data, and analyze system processes to understand user needs and identify opportunities for optimization.\nHelp validate completed development work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and delivers meaningful value to end users.\nSupport communication efforts by preparing release notes, feature documentation, and updates for impacted departments.\nBuild foundational knowledge of DWH systems, business processes, and the end-to-end customer experience.\n The Technical - You need to have or know:\nFoundational knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and the role of a Product Owner.\nAbility to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria that convey business value.\nAnalytical skills to understand system workflows, investigate issues, and interpret data.\nStrong problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency and ownership.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and business partners.\nBasic understanding of software testing, quality assurance, or bug reporting workflows.\nIt would be nice for you to have or know:\nExperience or knowledge in a ScrumMaster or Agile facilitator role.\nSQL or other basic data querying skills.\nFamiliarity with Kanban methodology.\nExperience working with geographically dispersed or cross-functional teams.\nThe Candidate - We are looking for:\nAn effective communicator who listens actively and can articulate ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nOrganized, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nA team player who builds strong relationships and collaborates well across roles and departments.\nSelf-motivated, reliable, and committed to seeing tasks through to completion.\nComfortable asking questions, seeking clarity, and sharing early when risks or issues arise.\nAbility to thrive in a flexible, fast-moving environment and contribute to a high-performance team culture.\nEager to grow your skills in product ownership and Agile methodology.\n Work Location: based out of our Houston headquarters near I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 West Loop N Fwy.\nPlease note that we do not offer sponsorship for work visas.\nWhat We Offer:\nCome build your future with our winning team, recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the \"100 Best Companies to Work For\" 20 times!
