Reporting to the Foreman, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, adjusting, and fastening mechanical components related to piping, ventilation, heating, air conditioning (HVAC), marine mechanics, and metal cabinetry systems. You will read plans and work orders, handle workshop assembly, perform pressure tests, adjust mechanical equipment, operate forklifts or trucks, and actively participate in the commissioning of systems aboard ships.\nCompensation:\n$34.64/hour for the first 1,000 hours, then a rate of $38.49/hour.\nOvertime paid at double time.\nWork Schedule\nDay: 4-day workweek, 10 hours per day\nEvening: 4-day workweek, 10 hours per day + $2.00/hour premium\nWeekend: 3-day workweek, 12 hours per day + $2.50/hour premium\n Frigate premium (military vessel): $1.25/hour regardless of shift.\nYou must be available for all shifts.
