About the role

The Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in the successful implementation and operationalisation of a new product within Davy. This role will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, translated into technical solutions, and delivered effectively.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Technology, Operations, and Risk teams to support delivery, drive process improvements, and ensure readiness for product launch and ongoing service performance.

In the role, the successful candidate will:

Business Analysis & Delivery

  • Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand business needs and define solution requirements.
  • Create and maintain user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
  • Support product squads and technology teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain requirements traceability and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison between business, technology, operations, and product teams.
  • Communicate complex business and technical requirements to a range of stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships to support collaboration and successful delivery outcomes.

Process Improvement & Optimisation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best practices.

Requirements

About You

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar role within financial services.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled change and implementing new products or platforms.
  • Proven experience working across business and technology teams in complex delivery environments.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis skills.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments preferential.
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, and technology platforms.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT and defect management.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving delivery environment.
