This role will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and enhancing the Benchling Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) platform to streamline scientific workflows, improve laboratory efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience with Benchling administration and configuration, software development, laboratory informatics, and scientific research environments. This position requires close collaboration with scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to develop scalable solutions that support research and development activities\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Benchling ELN solutions.\nConfigure, customize, and maintain the Benchling ELN platform to support laboratory operations and scientific workflows.\nDesign and develop custom workflows, integrations, and automation solutions using Benchling APIs and related technologies.\nCreate dashboards, reports, and custom label templates utilizing Bartender software.\nSupport Zebra printer integrations and barcode generation processes.\nDevelop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy system enhancements following SDLC best practices.\nMonitor system performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure platform stability.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, configuration specifications, and user guides.\nParticipate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, effort estimation, and status reporting.\nSupport computer system validation (CSV) activities, including documentation and compliance requirements.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and optimize laboratory informatics processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Benchling ELN.\nExperience developing solutions using Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar programming languages.\nExperience with REST APIs, system integrations, and workflow automation.\nStrong understanding of laboratory operations, scientific workflows, and R&D environments.\nExperience creating dashboards, reports, and technical documentation.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Benchling Registry, Inventory, and ELN modules.\nExperience with Bartender label software and Zebra printer technologies.\nExperience with laboratory informatics systems such as ELN, LIMS, LES, or scientific data platforms.\nExperience working in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, cell therapy, gene therapy, or life sciences organizations.\nKnowledge of GxP, cGMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity requirements.\nExperience with Computer System Validation (CSV), IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, and regulated
