In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, processing, tracking, and shipment of biological specimens while ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and chain of custody. You will work cross-functionally to support laboratory operations, maintain sample integrity, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a fast-paced laboratory environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nReceive, inspect, open, and triage incoming biospecimen shipments, ensuring samples are routed to the appropriate testing laboratories.\nPerform specimen accessioning and verify demographic and sample information for accuracy.\nConduct quality control checks on sample data entry and labeling to ensure compliance with established procedures.\nCommunicate with internal teams and clients regarding held, missing, or rejected samples and resolve issues promptly.\nPrepare, label, and verify specimens while maintaining complete chain of custody documentation.\nImage stained pathology slides and ensure deliverables are completed within established turnaround times.\nCoordinate domestic and international sample shipments while ensuring regulatory and company compliance.\nManage and monitor the BioSample Management team inbox, ensuring requests are tracked and completed in a timely manner.\nSupport process improvement initiatives by participating in workflow optimization projects and implementing operational enhancements.\nMaintain accurate documentation and sample records within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other tracking databases.\nPerform additional laboratory support duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n1-5 years of experience in biospecimen management, laboratory operations, sample accessioning, or a related laboratory environment.\nExperience handling biological samples while maintaining strict chain of custody procedures.\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with biospecimen management, sample accessioning, or laboratory operations.\nExperience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or other sample tracking software.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).\nExperience working in a clinical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or research laboratory.\nKnowledge of laboratory
