The candidate must be self-motivated, details-oriented, and\nable to work well in a team.\nIdeally, this person\nwould have a bachelor's degree followed by some work experience troubleshooting\ncomplex systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBecome an expert on theoperation and functionality of the Roche Sequencing Platform and Sample Prep\nplatform to ensure minimal system down time\n\nWork with theengineering teams on resolving discovered issues and propose solutions to\ncommon failure modes\n\nSupport the lab teamswith system troubleshooting both at the hardware/software level and the assay\nlevel\n\nExecute experiments andtesting protocols to ensure platform functionality\n\nClearly and timelycommunicate and collaborate across system, device, instrument, and reagent\nteams in root cause investigation findings and solution implementations\n\nHelp design,troubleshoot, and perform instrument development in a fast-paced environment\n\nGood understanding ofstatistical methods\n\nQualifications:\nB.S. with 1-2+ years ofexperience in a Bioengineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,\ncomputer engineering, mechatronics, or a related disciple \n\nTroubleshootingexperience in development or operations of microfluidics, liquid handler,\ndiagnostic systems, NGS systems.
