We are looking for a Procurement & Finance Data Analyst to join our Waterford team. This role suits a recent graduate or someone with up to three years’ experience who wants to build strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capability.\nWorking across procurement, finance and operations, you will turn spend, cost, invoice and supplier data into practical insights. Excel will be an important initial tool, while the role will develop with our evolving data platform, BI and automation capabilities.\nResponsibilities\nThe succesful cadidate wil be based in our Group offices located in Grannagh Co. Waterford. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:\nAnalyse procurement spend, cost, invoice and supplier data to identify trends, risks, anomalies and commercial opportunities.\nSupport sourcing, supplier discussions, forecasting and business decisions through clear, data-driven insights.\nClean, reconcile and validate information from multiple systems to improve accuracy and consistency.\nTrack and report savings, cost avoidance and cost improvement initiatives.\nDevelop dashboards, reports and recommendations for procurement, finance and operational stakeholders.\nUse SQL, scripting, data modelling, BI and automation tools to make recurring analysis more efficient, scalable and controlled.\nMonitor relevant commodity, market and supplier trends and assess their potential impact.\nQualifications\nThe Ideal candidate will have or demonstrate:\nA recent Graduate or up to three years’ experience in an analytical, data, finance, procurement or business role.\nDegree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.\nStrong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.\nStrong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and working with large datasets.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Python or another scripting language and Power BI, Qlik Sense or a comparable BI tool.\nAn understanding of basic data modelling and an interest in workflow automation, low-code tools and responsible AI-assisted
