Dawson currently has over $30.0B assets under management.\nThe Data Management team is seeking a Data Management Intern starting in January 2027 at our Toronto office. The intern will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in a high-performing entrepreneurial environment, helping with the daily operations of the management company.\nWe are looking for energetic, dynamic individuals who thrive in fast-paced and high-performance environments. Ideal candidates will be completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration and have a demonstrated track record of curricular and extracurricular excellence.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupport in-house review and data extraction process for financial statements and quarterly reports.\nPerform daily data-quality checks and reconciliations across investment, reference and operational data.\nInvestigate and document data discrepancies and escalate issues requiring further review.\nPrepare exception reports and support the monitoring of data-quality metrics.\nAssist with the preparation and validation of reports, dashboards and analytical outputs.\nSupport recurring and ad hoc data requests from business stakeholders.\nParticipate in the testing and validation of system changes, dashboards and data processes.\nDocument testing results identified issues and required follow-up actions.\nSupport data-related activities associated with new initiatives, and system enhancements.\nAssist with preparing datasets and validating outputs used by and created by in-house AI tool.\nEducation/Certification:\nExceptional academic record.\nExtracurricular leadership.\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related discipline.\nWhat You Bring:\nMicrosoft Excel, and PowerPoint skills.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Python, and Tableau is considered an asset.\nInterest in financial services, private equity, asset management or data management.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHigh level of attention to detail.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to communicate findings clearly and work collaboratively with different teams.\nOur Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion\nAt Dawson Partners, we are committed to being a truly diverse firm and fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.
