You'll set your team's technical direction and help the engineers around you grow. This role fits someone who loves solving system-level problems, coaching others, and shipping high-quality work. You'll report to the Manager, Engineering/Development.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nSet technical direction for your team by choosing design patterns and frameworks, guiding its development course, and leading adoption of tools and practices that speed up delivery.\nOwn the technical roadmap for your product or service, clear delivery blockers, and weigh feasibility and ROI as you shape priorities with product partners.\nBuild clean, reusable, maintainable applications that run fast, respond well, and work across platforms.\nLead system architecture and design reviews, and give clear, actionable feedback in code reviews.\nWrite automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests that support our continuous integration pipelines, and push quality earlier in the development process.\nFind the root cause of data and system issues, then design permanent fixes.\nMentor engineers across the full software development process, guide them as they build prototypes and validate ideas with data, and help shape user stories alongside your team.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\n6+ years of software engineering experience, and a bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, applied mathematics, or applied sciences) or equivalent experience\nStrong Java and object-oriented development skills, plus experience building and integrating with web services and RESTful APIs\nSolid SQL or relational database skills and an understanding of modern cloud architecture and tools\nExperience with automated testing (unit, integration, and performance), Git, and Agile development\nAdvanced proficiency with agentic AI tools in your daily workflow\nClear communication, so you can explain complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical partners, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n\nNice to have\n\nYou don't need all of these to apply.
