The Apprentice will be evaluated every three months and rotate between technicians to ensure diverse training.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment\nLearn to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using tools, meters, and specialized instruments\nPerform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems\nAssist with system inspections, identify malfunctions, and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades\nMaintain and organize equipment, tools, and spare parts inventory\nKeep accurate records of services performed, including diagnostic results, repairs, and parts used\nAdhere to safety guidelines and best practices when handling equipment, tools, and hazardous materials\nParticipate in on-the-job training and attend formal training programs to develop technical knowledge and skills\nCommunicate effectively with clients, answering questions and providing updates on repair or installation progress\nAssist in the preparation of estimates and work orders under supervision\nSupport senior technicians in troubleshooting complex issues as experience is gained\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nA strong interest in learning about HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment repair\nBasic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (training will be provided)\nGood problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting equipment, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces)\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team\nA valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (some travel may be required)\nAbility to lift 50 -
