As our Development Supervisor, you’ll be at the center of the action, leading Development Technicians while coordinating with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, Metrology, Safety, and other teams to keep people, equipment, materials, and schedules on track.This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk supervisory role. You’ll provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, troubleshoot day-to-day challenges, coordinate resources, develop your team, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.\nIf you bring manufacturing or technical experience, enjoy leading people, and thrive in an environment where every day brings a new challenge to solve, we want to hear from you!\nAs the Development Supervisor here's the work you'll do:\nCoordinate daily development activities and schedules to meet customer delivery requirements. Work closely with development engineering and other support groups to identify and resolve issues involving work orders, procedures, tooling, materials, equipment and other production needs.\nCoordinate with the materials department to ensure required materials are available for scheduled work. Track material locations and inventory and manage monthly inventory and annual property inventory requirements. \nProvide daily direction and supervision to development technicians, including assigning work, monitoring attendance, approving time off and timesheets, and managing required training and certifications. Provide hands-on production support when needed. \nCoordinate tool changes, equipment calibration, maintenance needs, and facility work requests to minimize downtime and ensure equipment and work areas are ready to support production. \nPromote a safe and organized work environment by completing required inspections, shop floor audits, safety checklists, and corrective actions. Participate in safety meetings and ensure employees follow applicable procedures, work instructions and safety requirements. \nProactively identify and resolve issues that could impact safety, quality, production or customer delivery. Coordinate with engineering, metrology, materials, maintenance, safety and other support groups to remove barriers and maintain efficient operations. \nThis role is for you if you have these skills:\nAbility to direct, coach, and hold employees accountable while maintaining positive working relationships \nAbility to prioritize work, coordinate resources, and manage multiple production needs \nAbility to identify potential problems, determine appropriate actions and drive issues to resolution \nAbility to communicate effectively and work across engineering, operations, materials, maintenance, metrology, safety and other departments \nWorking knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment, tooling, work instructions, and production processes \nDemonstrated commitment to safe work practices, quality requirements, compliance, housekeeping and continuous improvement \nAnd if you have these qualifications:\nH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required\nTechnical education or training Preferred\n4+ years previous experience in a manufacturing, machining, production or technical environment Required\n2+ years supervisory experience Preferred\nMust possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner OR current passport, indicating it is federally compliant.\nA positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.\nSuccessful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.\nCandidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.\nIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680- $92,520. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
