You will get to work under the supervision of an experienced engineer. The internship tasks will be focused in the area in line with your education and ability.\nAs the Operations Engineer Summer Intern, here’s the work you’ll do:\nWill prepare and update operator procedures for the shop floor.\nAddress daily production related issues on shop floor.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects.\nMaintain direct labor standards.\nMaintain process layouts.\nThis role is for you if you have these skills:\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\nAbility to handle multiple duties simultaneously. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nKnowledge in Word, Access, Excel, AutoCAD, Outlook and other software programs as needed.\nAbility to prepare well written procedures and technical reports.\nAnd if you have these qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in a college or university pursuing Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field; prefer IE or ME\nEligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship\nGreat attitude and team player.\nSuccessful completion of background screening process.\nIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $22.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
