Join DZMC as a Mechanical Engineer 4 and become a vital contributor to our innovative engineering team. This role requires applying advanced mechanical engineering expertise to lead and execute complex projects in the chemical process industry and related sectors. You will have a crucial role throughout project phases, from conceptual front-end engineering to detailed design and construction support, ensuring that technical solutions adhere to rigorous standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

Our dynamic work environment fosters professional growth and collaboration, offering you the opportunity to influence project outcomes directly while interacting with multidisciplinary teams and industry-leading vendors. • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers across a portfolio of projects, applying your subject matter expertise to ensure technical excellence and seamless project delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Develop and evaluate conceptual mechanical designs, rigorously assessing alternatives based on parameters such as constructability, performance efficiency, reliability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental compliance to optimize project outcomes.
  • Effectively manage mechanical scope changes, ensuring that deliverables are completed within approved budgetary and scheduling constraints, demonstrating strong project management capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders including other engineering disciplines, construction teams, site personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate and integrate work activities for smooth project execution.
  • Establish and approve detailed work plans, resource allocation, and scheduling for your team and projects, driving productivity and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications, ensuring adherence to established design standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations; apply your professional engineering license to sanction final designs where applicable.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by integrating innovative best practices and technologies into mechanical engineering processes and design methodologies.
  • Support construction phases by providing technical guidance, resolving engineering issues, and ensuring that mechanical installations align with design criteria and safety standards.

This role is for you if you have these skills:
