Your insight will be instrumental in elevating technical excellence, improving project outcomes, and supporting continued business growth.\nIf you are ready to make a visible impact on complex projects while helping shape the future of piping engineering, we invite you to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values innovation, inclusion, professional development, and engineering excellence.\nAs the Piping Engineer 4, here is the work you'll do:\nCollaborate closely with the discipline lead to deliver high-quality piping design outputs, including developing detailed piping specifications aligned with ANSI standards and industry best practices.\nDesign pressure piping systems that integrate seamlessly with process and equipment modifications for both new installations and upgrades, ensuring functionality and safety compliance.\nConduct rigorous piping stress analyses, perform precise calculations, and carry out safety evaluations to guarantee integrity and reliability under operational conditions.\nLead conceptual engineering studies involving cost estimation, project planning, layout development, and design calculations to optimize piping configurations and support systems.\nSupervise and review vendor equipment packages to ensure nozzle load compatibility, anchor placements, and adherence to engineering standards.\nMentor junior engineers by reviewing their calculations, sketches, and layouts to maintain accuracy and consistency with project requirements.\nContribute actively to cross-functional teams to address constructability issues, provide technical recommendations, and support project milestones.\nThis role is for you if you have these skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of piping engineering principles complemented by familiarity with nationally and internationally recognized codes and standards, including ASME, API, and ANSI.\nProficiency in learning and adapting to new engineering software tools rapidly, enhancing productivity and technical output quality.\nSelf-motivated and proactive approach to work, demonstrating the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.\nExcellent team collaboration and communication skills, ensuring effective knowledge sharing and coordination within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong attention to detail coupled with analytical skills to review complex engineering data and provide dependable solutions.\nAnd if you have these qualifications:\nA minimum of 12 years of professional experience inpiping engineering, evidencing progressive responsibility and technical expertise.\nAt least 8 years of practical experience utilizing 3D CAD and BIM software, such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit, and Navisworks, to develop piping layouts, designs, model coordination, and clash detection consistent with project requirements\nPreferred experience of 5+ years using pipe stress analysis software, favorably Caesar II or an equivalent platform, to support engineering decision-making and safety assessments.\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite applications with advanced skills in Excel to manage data analysis and reporting tasks effectively.\nIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $114,960.00 - $172,440.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
