This role delivers both technical and administrative support to Quality Engineers, Quality Auditors, and other cross-functional personnel in the development, production, and sustainment of new and existing ammunition products and manufacturing processes. The Quality Supervisor promotes continuous improvement, ensures adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, and fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and process excellence.\nAs the Quality Inspection Supervisor III here’s the work you’ll do:\nPractices and promotes safety. Assures quality records meet all procedural requirements. Actively coordinates and manages inspection staff. Issue corrective actions as required. \nAssures correct documents, procedures, material, equipment and tools are available at point of use. Collects, formats and provides inspection data to QE supporting customer requirements and Ammunition Data Card development. \nTrains personnel in quality practices and procedures including: QWI's, tagging, use of inspection equipment, as well as other quality related tasks. Supports investigations, non-conforming material tagging/disposition and manages tool calibration compliance. \nSupports corrective action responses, assists in implementation of corrective actions. Collects, formats, and provides data to Quality Engineer in support of customer data requirements. Develops and executes qualification plans, FAAT plans and reports. \nSupports Quality Planning activities such as FMEA, process maps, control plans and efficient data collection methods. Supports AIE/AAIE test, gage R&R studies for AO ammunition items. \nThis role is for you if you have these skills:\nAbility to read, analyze, and understand technical procedures. Ability to input, format, and process data. Assist in writing reports and procedures. Ability to effectively gather and process information and support responses to questions from managers and customers.\nAbility to manage suck tasks including: personnel oversite, concise reporting, time management, statistical sampling and collaboration with production supervision.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and apply a variety of technical instructions in text, diagram, or mathematical form, and deal with process input and output variables.\nMust be able to act independently when required. Be able to assess situations as they develop and take decisive action.\nManage the issuance of revised procedures and removal of old procedures.\nAnd if you have these qualifications:\nH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required.\nAssociate’s Degree (AA) In technical studies Preferred.\n2+ years experience Preferred.\nMust be willing to obtain ASQ Certified Quality Technician or Certified Quality Auditor certification and/or related technical Quality education, preferably that which will result in obtaining a certificate or degree. \nMay require a secret clearance. \nMust possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant OR Current Passport.\nA positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.\nSuccessful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.\nCandidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.\nIn compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520 annually. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location.
