As a Network Engineer II, you will play a key role in engineering, operating, securing, and continuously improving our global network infrastructure.\nIn this role, you’ll move beyond primarily operational monitoring and initial support to independently troubleshoot complex network issues, implement and validate network changes, contribute to engineering initiatives, and help improve the resiliency, performance, security, and standardization of the enterprise network. You’ll work closely with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, application teams, and external partners to deliver reliable and secure connectivity for our business and customers.\nLocation: Hybrid (Remote and Office-Based)\nWhat You’ll Get to Do\nEngineer, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, Internet, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity solutions.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting of network performance, routing, switching, wireless, firewall, VPN, DNS, and application connectivity issues, driving incidents through resolution and engaging vendors when required.\nPlan, execute, validate, and document network changes in accordance with established change management processes, with a focus on minimizing risk and business impact.\nSupport and administer secure access and cloud security technologies, including Zscaler ZIA/ZPA and Cloudflare services.\nSupport firewall platforms and policy changes across technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco, applying least-privilege and security best practices.\nParticipate in the design, implementation, migration, upgrade, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure across offices, data centers, and cloud environments.\nAnalyze recurring incidents and performance trends, identify root causes, and recommend engineering improvements that increase availability, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, application teams, and external vendors on projects, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and customer-related connectivity requirements.\nDevelop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, methods of procedure (MOPs), implementation plans, validation plans, rollback procedures, runbooks, and knowledge articles.\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive network operational and engineering activities using APIs, scripting, orchestration, or approved automation platforms.\nProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members and operational resources, and assist with escalations requiring deeper network expertise.\nParticipate in Major Incident Management (MIM), problem management, Change Advisory Board (CAB), after-hours maintenance, and on-call activities as required.\nSkills and Experience We Value\n5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, network operations, or enterprise infrastructure support, with demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and implement network solutions.\nStrong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing, switching, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN concepts.\nRequired: Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Zscaler, including ZIA and ZPA, with working knowledge of policies, application access, traffic forwarding, authentication, and connectivity troubleshooting.\nRequired: Hands-on experience with Cloudflare technologies and services, including troubleshooting and supporting secure application/network connectivity. Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust, WAF, DNS, Access, Gateway, or related capabilities is highly valued.\nHands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks, and/or Cisco Secure Firewall/ASA, including firewall policy, NAT, VPN, and security rule troubleshooting.\nExperience with Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including Catalyst switching, wireless, routing, and/or SD-WAN environments.\nExperience with network monitoring, observability, packet analysis, and troubleshooting tools such as Dynatrace, packet capture utilities, flow analytics, or equivalent platforms.\nWorking knowledge of public cloud networking in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including concepts such as VPC/VNet connectivity, routing, security controls, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.\nExperience working within ITSM processes, including incident, problem, and change management, with the ability to produce clear implementation, testing, validation, and rollback documentation.\nExperience with network automation, scripting, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, or orchestration platforms is strongly preferred.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to correlate information across network, security, endpoint, cloud, and application layers.\nAbility to communicate technical issues clearly to engineers, business stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.\nRelevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet certifications, Palo Alto Networks certifications, Zscaler certifications, or Cloudflare
