You will be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with your client team, respond to, and resolve to client employee queries within the timescales defined, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of German Payroll legislation.\nAbout the opportunity \nResponsible for ensuring all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, etc. are processed, reconciled, audited and transmitted accurately an on time.\nEnsure accurate and timely processing of payroll impacting changes, payments and payroll processing for assigned clients.\nResponsible for quality control and auditing to ensure accuracy and low error or defect percentage.\nWork with cross-functional internal partners to resolve client payroll mattes and employee enquiries.\nProvide HR/Payroll support services to clients per contract, government compliance and business needs.\nCreate, update and review standard operating procedures and perform quarterly document reviews.\nHave an “I own it” attitude about deliverables and projects from start to finish.\nThink and act ahead, spot opportunities and act accordingly proactively contributing to process improvements.\nSkills and Experience we value\nMinimum of 1 year relevant experience in a similar role with a strong concentration in German payroll\nMust have excellent German and English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, technically and effectively with customers and internal partners.\nExperience in dealing with high volume payroll (circa >3,000) customer employees\nAbility to interface with clients and to use critical thinking skills to resolve complex problems.\nStrong working knowledge of quality control and auditing standards\nUp to date knowledge of German tax & SI regulations\ngood knowledge of German payroll applications like LoGa, SAP, Paisy etc.\nSelf-starter with a Customer Service oriented personality\nAbility to effectively work globally, engaging with
