In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in daily cybersecurity operations while contributing to initiatives focused on automation and process improvement.\nYou will be exposed to real-world enterprise environments, assisting in managing operational workflows and identifying opportunities to streamline processes using automation and AI-driven solutions.\nDayforce is seeking innovative and curious minds like yours to join our growing cybersecurity team!\n\nWhat you’ll get to do:\nSupport daily IAM and Messaging operations, including monitoring the cybersecurity mailbox \nHelp triage and categorize cybersecurity-related inquiries and incidents \nIdentify repetitive operational tasks and propose opportunities for automation \nAssist in building simple automation workflows using tools such as: \nMicrosoft Power Platform (Power Automate) \nPython scripting (basic) \nSOAR platforms (e.g., XSOAR – exposure level) \nExplore use of AI tools (e.g., internal AI platforms, ChatGPT, etc.) to support operational tasks \nContribute ideas on how AI can improve cybersecurity workflows and decision-making \n\nSkills and experience we value:\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline\nCuriosity, a passion for data, and cybersecurity \nBasic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts\nIT systems, networks, or cloud fundamentals \nFamiliarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Teams, Outlook)\nBasic scripting (Python or similar) is a plus \nStrong analytical thinking and attention to detail \nGood communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a global team environment \n\nWhat you will gain:\nOpportunity: Real-world experience at a large global human capital management (HCM) software company.
