The Principal Services Consultant works closely with the Project Manager to plan the project and identify critical dependencies. Project responsibilities include: facilitation of customer requirements gathering, design of the Dayforce solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance and design/configuration oversight to other project resources, identifying risks, and communicating issues to the Project Manager.\nWhat you’ll get to do\nProvide Implementation Services to customers:\nSupport the project team in the validation of customers’ business requirements and mapping to Dayforce functionality.\nDesign and document innovative solutions to solve customers’ business needs.\nGuide the configuration of the Dayforce application to meet customers’ business requirements.\nAct as subject matter expert (SME) on strategic implementations.\nLead internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.\nContribute to Internal Implementation Initiatives:\nDesign and document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository.\nDocument best practices and share with the Practice.\nLead the subject matter expert (SME) program in at least one area of expertise (Payroll, Benefits, WFM).\nRegularly participate in internal process improvement initiatives.\nFocus on Continuing Education:\nContribute to internal knowledge share; review questions and provide feedback on a continuous basis.\nParticipate in Continuing Education sessions; lead Implementation best practice sessions.\nComplete new release training on a timely basis; be fully versed on new and/or enhanced functionality in each product release.\nMentor consultants on best practice implementation of new product features and functionality, including new customer end-to-end implementations.\nSupport the sales cycle through solution review and feedback and assistance with scoping and estimation.\nParticipate in prospect discussions regarding solution overview and implementation considerations.\nSkills and experience we value\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\n10+ years of experience in human capital management applications consulting.\n5+ years in Consultant role with Dayforce HCM.\nSolid experience in business process mapping.\nTechnical Skills Requirements:\nProficient in Microsoft Office products.\nInternal expert with software in a SaaS/cloud computing environment, including experience with HRIS.\nExperience with one or more of the following applications in addition to Dayforce HCM: Salesforce.com, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, iChris, or Preceda.\nAbility to effectively implement all Dayforce HCM modules.\nExpert knowledge of common human capital management (HCM) business practices.\nDeep understanding of different industries and how Dayforce implementation best practices apply to the customer’s business practices.\nDeep Dayforce product knowledge in at least two Dayforce HCM modules (Payroll, WSS, T&A, Leave, etc.), as demonstrated through multiple implementations.\nExcellent customer relationship and business acumen.\nDemonstrates full competence in business function.\nAbility to engage with multiple projects and customers at the same time and manage competing priorities.\nExcellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to lead and facilitate customer and internal workshops and sessions.\nAbility to mentor junior consultants and guide solution configuration through peer reviews and other QA activities.\nActs as role model for Consulting@Dayforce guidelines.\nAbility to provide implementation scoping and solution guidance in the sales cycle.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExcellent presentation skills;
