This internship is ideal for students with a background in Computer Science and a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence. As an IT Trainee Developer, you will gain hands-on experience in software development using AI tools, working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional team. \nWhat you’ll get to do\nCollaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software applications and solutions using AI.\nLeverage AI-powered tools like Github Copilot, ChatGPT, Rovo and OpenAI APIs to speed up development and improve code quality. \nAssist in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting software issues using AI tooling to identify root causes faster and document findings for the team.\nParticipate in the development and enhancement of existing software products through applied AI; from code generation and refactoring to documentation and test coverage. \nSupport the team in the implementation of software best practices and coding standards with a focus on how AI tooling can enforce and accelerate engineering excellence. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver quality results.\n\nSkills and experience we value:\nCurrently enrolled or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nSolid understanding of programming languages such as C#, Java, C++, or JavaScript. \nProficiency in Python and experience using AI-powered tools. \nFamiliarity with one or more AI tools, APIs, and frameworks such as: \nOpenAI, Claude or Gemini API \nLangChain \nHugging Face \nAzure AI \nOllama\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering and LLMM fine tuning is an added advantage.\nParticipation in AI-related competitions, courses, or academic projects is a strong plus.\nSmart and driven individual who is passionate about learning AI and working in a tech environment.\nStrong academic performance in courses regarding programming languages, algorithms, data structures, computer organization, and discrete mathematics.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nBenefits for Students:\nAll Interns receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development. \nYou'll also have opportunities to hone your functional skills and expertise in an area of specialization. \nWe offer a variety of formal and informal training programs at every level to help you acquire and build specialized skills faster. \nLearning takes place both on the job and through formal training conducted online, in the classroom, or in collaboration with teammates. \n\nImportant Application Guidelines:\nAll students are requested to apply to our posting link (on Dayforce Career Portal) that was shared to them and upload their Resumes and Academic (University) Transcripts.
