For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in Philippines\nAbout the opportunity \nThe Tax Research and Resolution Specialist IV is responsible for the resolution of jurisdiction correspondences from Federal, State and Local agencies. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of tax filing such as original and/ or amended returns within designated deadlines on behalf of our client base. In addition, the Tax Resolution Specialist performs records management tasks including prepping, imaging/ scanning and indexing of documents as needed.\n\nWhat you’ll get to do\nResolve and process tax jurisdiction correspondences/ amendment forms ranging from an easy to moderate level.\nAnalyze and research issues that caused a tax agency to issue an out of compliance notification to customers. Review and investigate inquiries from tax authority agencies and respond promptly to resolve any discrepancies.\nPrepare and file original and/ or amended for federal, states, and local tax returns.\nResolve client inquiries accurately and expediently with a high level of customer service.\nMaintain contact and interact with any taxing agencies and authorities to obtain and analyze information necessary to complete tax filings.\nCommunicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, and fax to obtain information or required approvals for issues regarding tax jurisdiction or amendment correspondences.\nKnowledge of agency requirements and forms.
