The position requires someone who is comfortable owning the accounting process end-to-end, working in a lean environment, and partnering with stakeholders across different countries and functions.\nThe ideal candidate should be comfortable operating independently while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and reporting discipline within a fast-growing organization.\nBest fit: Big 4 alumni or experienced MNC accounting professionals looking for broader regional exposure and ownership within a growing international business.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn month-end close activities for assigned entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, management reports, and variance analysis \nPrepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and accounting documentation \nSupport multi-entity accounting activities across different countries and currencies \nEnsure compliance with IFRS/US GAAP reporting requirements and internal accounting policies \nCoordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries across jurisdictions \nSupport corporate tax filings and statutory compliance activities \nPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records \nIdentify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance \nMaintain accounting accuracy and reporting integrity within SAP S/4HANA \nSupport ad hoc finance projects, system improvements, and regional finance initiatives \nRole Requirements\nDegree in Accounting or Finance with active CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional qualification \n3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or regional finance roles \nBig 4 audit or multinational company (MNC) experience preferred \nStrong hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end close \nExposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP environments \nExperience supporting audits, reconciliations, and statutory compliance \nWorking knowledge of SOX/internal controls \nExperience using ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA preferred \nNice to Have\nMulti-country accounting or regional finance exposure \nExperience coordinating with overseas stakeholders and external auditors \nExposure to high-growth or fast-scaling environments \nBackground in infrastructure, data center, real estate, or capital-intensive industries \nDayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
