This is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.\nIf you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.\nDesign and Planning\nDevelop electrical design plans and specifications in accordance with project requirements, codes, and standards.\n\nCreate detailed drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software.\n\nEvaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications to ensure they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.\n\nInstallation and Construction Oversight\nCoordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are installed according to design plans and specifications.\n\nConduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.\n\nTroubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support during construction.\n\nBudgeting and Cost Control\nEstimate project costs and prepare budget proposals for electrical systems and installations.\n\nMonitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.\n\nCompliance and Safety\nEnsure all electrical installations and systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.\n\nImplement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks and hazards on construction sites.\n\nTesting and Commissioning\nConduct tests and inspections of electrical systems to verify functionality, performance, and safety.\n\nCoordinate with testing agencies and stakeholders for system commissioning and certification.\n\nDocumentation and Reporting\nMaintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and expenses.\n\nPrepare reports, proposals, and documentation for stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and project teams.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PE license) may be preferred.\n\nMust have 5 -7 experience as an Electrical Engineer in Data Centre / Pharmaceutical / Hospital / Cleanroom projects, with a focus on electrical systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.\n\nProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.\n\nStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (NEC, IEC, etc.), and construction practices.\n\nExcellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\nDayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
