You'll work with Procurement and Construction teams to define contract requirements, select vendors and negotiate commercial terms. Your scope extends from tender evaluation and contract preparation through vendor performance reviews, management reporting and process improvement.\nResponsibilities\nProject Requirements and Vendor Selection\nDefine requirements for services, materials and equipment with Procurement and Construction teams to develop contract specifications.\nResearch and assess potential vendors to select those suited to project requirements.\nConsolidate requests for proposals (RFPs), conduct tender interviews and evaluate tender returns to support vendor selection.\nCost-Effective and Compliant Contracts\nNegotiate terms and conditions to secure cost-effective contracts aligned with company standards.\nDraft and review contracts and coordinate their approval to meet legal and regulatory requirements.\nManage construction contracts and vendor obligations to support delivery against agreed terms.\nMeasurable Vendor Performance\nEstablish vendor relationships that support communication and coordination with project stakeholders.\nDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for service quality, response times and compliance with contract terms.\nChair monthly vendor reviews to assess performance, agree improvements and implement follow-up actions.\nService Continuity and Process Improvement\nAgree timely resolutions to contractual matters with vendors to support continuity of data center operations.\nGenerate and present vendor performance reports to senior management to inform decisions and service improvements.\nApply insights from Southeast Asian industry trends and process reviews to improve procurement and vendor management practices.\nRequirements\nTechnical Skills\nExperience managing vendors, negotiating contracts and administering construction contracts in the data center or construction industry, including applying contract law and standard forms of construction contracts.\nUnderstanding of construction methods, the project lifecycle and interfaces between civil, structural and architectural works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, commissioning and operations in data centers or similarly complex facilities.\nA bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field, together with a relevant certification in procurement, supply chain management or contract management.\nSoft Skills\nNegotiate favourable contract terms and explain contractual requirements clearly, verbally and in writing, to vendors and internal stakeholders.\nAnalyse vendor performance data, identify trends and translate findings into recommendations for senior management.\nCoordinate multiple contracts and vendors, maintain regular performance reviews and agree professional, timely resolutions to contractual matters.\nNice to Have\nConstruction contract management experience on large-scale building, infrastructure or mission-critical data center projects.\nWhy join DayOne?\nYou'll work across procurement, construction contracts and vendor performance for DayOne's data center projects in Chon Buri.
