Join the Lahti team early and help shape how a campus of this scale is built, commissioned, and run.\nAs an Electrical Engineering Manager, you oversee the electrical infrastructure and systems of our hyperscale data centres. This role ensures the continuous and efficient operation of electrical systems, upholds high safety and compliance standards. You will lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of critical electrical services 24/7.\nYour Key Responsibilities Will Include\nElectrical System Management\nOversee the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems within the data centres.\nEnsure all electrical infrastructure, including power distribution units, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and switchgear, operate reliably and efficiently.\nImplement and maintain electrical safety policies, procedures, and best practices.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nCoordinate with shift teams to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage and effective handovers between shifts.\nConduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities and productivity.\nMaintenance and Upgrades\nPlan and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all electrical equipment and systems are serviced according to manufacturer and company standards.\nCoordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical maintenance and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal impact on operations.\nTechnical Support\nProvide technical expertise and support for electrical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.\nCollaborate with other engineering and operations teams to ensure integrated and efficient system performance.\nSafety and Compliance\nEnsure all electrical operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.\nMaintain up-to-date documentation and records to support compliance audits and certifications.\nStrategic Initiatives\nSupport the Critical Services Manager in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance electrical system performance and support business growth.\nParticipate in budget planning and cost management activities to ensure operational efficiency and financial performance.\nRequirements\nTechnical Skills\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within a data centre or critical infrastructure environment, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.\nStrong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and switchgear, and the ability to manage complex electrical challenges.\nProven experience in managing technical teams and 24/7 operations.\nSoft Skills\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.\nProficiency in English, both written and spoken.
