This is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.\nIf you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.\nPosition Overview\nThe MCR Team is a specialised, in-house engineering organisation designed to provide rapid response, advanced troubleshooting, and self-perform maintenance for mission-critical systems across the data centre portfolio.\nThe Inventory Manageris responsible formanaging all critical spare parts required to support the self-perform maintenance and rapid response capabilities of the MCR team. This includesestablishinga centralised spare parts strategy, ensuringaccurateinventory control, managing regional warehouses, and supporting urgent dispatch of spare parts during incidents. The role ensures that all MCR activities are supported with the required components tomaintainsystem reliability, minimise downtime, and protect SLA performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and manage a comprehensive spare parts strategy covering storage, lifecycle, replenishment, and usage tracking.\n\nMaintainaccurateinventory records for all critical spare parts across regional warehouses.\n\nCoordinate withsite teamto define spare parts requirements for key systems (UPS,FWU/CRAC,Generator,Chiller,CDU, etc.).\n\nEstablish safety stock levels based on failure rates, lead times, and operational criticality.\n\nManage spare parts hubs, ensuring proper organisation, labelling, and environmental conditions.\n\nSupport emergency response by arranging immediate dispatch or mobilisation of critical parts during incidents.\n\nReview part condition, obsolescence risks, and coordinate with OEMs for updates or replacements.\n\nOversee shipping, receiving, storage, and internallogisticsfor all critical components.\n\nEnsure compliance with audit requirements, security controls, and insurance standards for high-value spare parts.\n\nMaintain documentation/online platformincluding part lists, lifecycle records, warranty information, and consumption reports.\n\nCandidate Requirements\nDiploma/Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.\n\n3-5+years’ experiencein spare parts management, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles-preferably in technical or engineering environments.\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical components used in critical facilities (UPS boards, EC fans, pumps, actuators, sensors, breakers, etc.).\n\nExperience with inventory management systems (CMMS) and strong administrative skills.\n\nAbility to coordinatelogistics, manage multiple warehouses, and handle urgent dispatch operations.\n\nGood understanding of workplace safety requirements and handling of sensitive/high-value equipment.\n\nStrong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExperience in data centres or mission-critical environments is a plus.\n\nDayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
