The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, a keen analytical mind, and excellent leadership skills.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview monthly and quarterly management reports and prepare presentations for senior management, including variance analyses and financial insights.\nCollaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and support business decision-making.\nMonitor financial performance against targets and prepare variance reports.\nEnsure compliance with financial regulations and standards.\nLead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.\nDraft and review technical accounting papers, memos, and policy updates to ensure compliance and address emerging accounting issues.\nConduct risk assessments and implement appropriate financial controls.\nLiaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.\nQualifications:\nDegree holder in Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications\nCPA/ACCA or equivalent certification.\nMinimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, with initial experience acquired in Big 4 is preferred.\nFamiliar with group accounting policies, tax requirement and internal control procedures. Experience in US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is an advantage.\nExperience in SAP S/4HANA would be advantageous.\nSelf-motivated and high degree of initiative, high level of integrity with a strong sense of urgency\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.\nDayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
