We're a friendly, inclusive, and ambitious team-driven by our values and a shared commitment to success. If you’re ready to join a fast-growing, high-impact company that’s reimagining resource management, then let’s talk.\nAbout the role\nIf you're talented in software implementation projects, data mapping, and building strong customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you. This is a highly customer-facing role where you'll work closely with stakeholders, earn their trust, understand their business challenges, and guide organisations through the successful adoption of Dayshape. We have a strong pipeline of enterprise prospects and are growing our Professional Services team to support that growth.\nYou'll work on implementation projects with newly signed and existing customers, alongside one of our Project Managers. We have a proven onboarding process that guides each project, and you'll be independent, driven, analytical and keen to learn our product. You'll be an advocate for Dayshape, consulting and guiding customers to get the most out of it.\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, acting as a consultative partner throughout their Dayshape journey.\nRun engaging Dayshape demonstrations for prospective and new customers, showing how Dayshape can support their business objectives.\nUnderstand customers' operating models, challenges and strategic goals, drawing on your knowledge of how accountancy and professional services firms work to guide them towards best-practice resource management processes.\nLead discovery and design workshops, asking insightful questions, challenging assumptions where appropriate, and translating business needs into effective solutions, while advising customers on how to get the most value from Dayshape.\nConfigure Dayshape to meet customer requirements while driving standardisation, scalability and long-term success, and define integration requirements so that business processes and data flows are clearly understood and documented.\nLead data mapping, migration and loading, working with customers to prepare, validate and load their data into Dayshape.\nSupport customer UAT, go-live and handover, making sure customers are confident and ready to move into ongoing support with our Application Support team.\nDeliver impactful training and enablement sessions that equip customers to confidently adopt and champion Dayshape within their organisation.\nProvide product and configuration expertise to Project Managers and other internal stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.\nIdentify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and our delivery methodology as Professional Services evolves, and act as the voice of the customer, feeding back to Product, Engineering and Customer teams to help shape the future of Dayshape.\nRequirements\nAbout you\nDemonstrable experience implementing complex SaaS, ERP, or business applications within Accountancy, Professional Services, Consulting, or similar industries.\nExperience configuring software solutions and translating business requirements into system configurations and scalable processes.\nExperience mapping and migrating customer data, with a basic knowledge of JSON, SQL and JavaScript (or a willingness to develop these skills).\nStrong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decisions at all levels of an organisation.\nA consultative mindset and excellent workshop facilitation skills: the confidence to challenge assumptions and explore alternatives, and the active listening to uncover underlying business needs rather than simply capture stated requirements.\nThe ability to understand and solve business challenges around resource management, workforce planning, scheduling and operational efficiency, with an interest in helping customers improve their ways of working.\nA logical, analytical and structured approach to problem solving, and the ability to quickly learn complex systems and keep up with product developments.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and to present and demo with confidence.\nSelf-motivated, adaptable and collaborative, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing organisation, and happy to share knowledge and support colleagues.\nBonus points if you have\nExperience delivering software implementations within the Resource Management, Workforce Planning, ERP, PSA, or HR technology space.\nExperience working with professional services organisations such as accountancy firms, consulting firms, law firms, engineering consultancies, or other people-centric businesses.\nExperience advising customers on business process transformation, operating model improvements, or change management.\nHands-on experience with APIs and system integrations.\nExperience working in a scale-up or fast-growing software company.\nBenefits\nWhat you’ll get\nSalary £40,000 - £52,000 dependent on experience \nAt least £1,000 per year to spend on professional and personal development \n33 days' holiday per year (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day each year to a maximum of 40 days \nPaid four week sabbatical in your fifth anniversary year on top of your holiday entitlement \nEnhanced family leave policies \nPrivate health insurance, including dental and vision benefits \nIncome protection and death in service cover \nMatched 5% auto-enrolment workplace pension scheme \nAccess to wellbeing offerings, such as our Employee Assistance Programme and a dedicated counselling service \nVolunteering time - up to 20 hours a year to participate in volunteer work \nRegular All Hands meeting for inspiration and over-communication \nTime out of the working week for team socials each month, with a mix of in-person and virtual options: past events include hiking, family BBQs, board games and at-home cocktail classes! \nGenuinely nice, smart people to work with, who are excited about growing our company\nWorking Details\nThis is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). We typically work from 09:00 - 17:30 from Monday to Friday, though we can be flexible around this, just let us know.\nWe’re ideally looking for someone in/around Edinburgh, though we’re open to the possibility of this being a remote role (as long as you're in the UK). We're making the most of hybrid working, so you won't need to come into the office everyday (unless you want to!).\nWe don't mandate required office time, but we find that most of the team enjoy working from home 2-3 days a week, and come into our office to connect with each other, make use of space, and for meetings.\nJoin the team!\nEquality of opportunity is more than just a responsibility: we believe it’s a huge advantage to welcome a variety of experiences and perspectives into the team. Diversity is a great asset and, as such, we strongly encourage applications from any background.\nThis is your opportunity to really influence how we get things done, and how our customers experience Dayshape from their very first day. We're doing well, but there's lots more to do in order to maintain the high bar and pace that we've set.\nEveryone here is growing personally as the company grows, so if that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to see your application. The deadline for applications is 21 Oct 2026 5PM (UK).\nPlease note the successful candidate for this role will be subject to background checks and will have an opportunity to declare anything to us beforehand.","description_format":"text","description_chars":9072,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Health insurance","Hybrid work","Parental leave"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Project & Work Management Software","Human Resources"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-06T17:05:41Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":3,"expected_fill_days":28,"reasons":["conf:1","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-10T05:45:15Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":68988,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/dayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/dayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-11T03:04:49Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":410,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4590,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-12T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":11227},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=11227"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fdayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fdayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fdayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/dayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fdayshape-software-implementation-consultant-uk"}]}
