See more about our benefits and why DG is a great place to work below.\n As a Composite Operator, you’ll work with molds, presses, and specialized equipment to create high-quality composite parts for aviation. This is a physical, hands-on role where you’ll move and handle heavy molds, prepare parts for production, and be an important part of building components that go on to aircrafts worldwide.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLoads and unloads molds in the ovens, presses, and the autoclave.\nPreps molds and runs heat presses and ovens.\nDemolds parts and prepares them for production.\nMaintains logs for presses and ovens\nMaintains all tools, molds, fixtures and production equipment in the Composite Assembly area.\nFollows company workmanship and quality standards.\nOther assigned tasks by management.\nFollows all DG safety procedures as per company policies.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment involving regular physical work.\nAbility to lift, pull, and push items up to 50-60 lbs and use moving carts/equipment to transport molds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to perform the physical requirements of handling heavy molds and demolding parts, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nExperience using hand tools. \nAbility to stand for the duration of the work shift.\nGood communication skills in English (both verbal and written).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience operating autoclaves\nPre-Employment Requirements:\nAll employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.\nWhy You'll Love Working Here:\nWe are a multi-generational team with members representing a diversity of cultures, educational backgrounds, experience levels and ideas all 'making it happen' from one location in beautiful, coastal South Florida.
