In addition, this professional helps determines type and cost of materials required for the projects, ensures specifications and drawings are accurate, reviewing projects and plans, determining layouts, and testing electrical patterns.\nThe candidate will also be responsible to retrofit equipment with controls needed to improve the efficiency and performance of the devices.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nAdvanced LV electrical installation, troubleshooting, construction, and maintenance skills.\nRepair and provide technical support and documentation for Low Band, VHF/UHF, and 800/900 MHz analog and digital systems, mobile and portable subscriber equipment, simulcast.\nInstallation, maintenance, and repair of base systems, repeaters, remote controls, multiplexers, antenna systems, microwave systems, battery backup systems, and solar power systems.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations. Reading blueprints, running conduit, wiring devices, troubleshooting, and performing quality control testing.\nReading and interpreting mechanical, architectural and electrical LV drawings and code specifications for determining wiring layouts.\nTroubleshooting, testing, and repairing emergency generators and various LV electrical systems and power distribution systems to ensure that they are working properly.\nPerforming upgrades or preventive maintenance to electrical control systems.\nRunning tests, isolating problems, replacing damaged section of wiring, laying conduit, and performing other tasks as required.\nWork on various projects without supervision.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nAdvanced courses that deal with basic electric controls, electrical code and wiring\n6 years minimum of commercial LV wiring experience with a good knowledge of electrical installations.\nLicenses and/or Certifications:\nWashington/Oregon - Electrical EL06 License or LEA License\nCompany Overview:\nDay Wireless Systems is the largest full-service wireless integrator in the West.
