DAZN is a London company founded in 2015 that streams live sport directly to consumers in more than two hundred markets. It builds its own video delivery, rights management and betting integrated products rather than licensing a platform. The company holds major football, boxing and motorsport rights and employs large engineering teams in Europe.
About the role
We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our Mobile Engineering team and help us build world-class streaming experiences used by millions of sports fans worldwide.
You will work on a large-scale Android application, collaborating closely with engineers, QA, product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features and continuously improve app performance, reliability, and user experience.
Experience in video streaming, media playback, or connected devices is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
What you'll do
- Design and develop Android applications using modern Android technologies and best practices.
- Build scalable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
- Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Review code and mentor other engineers.
- Investigate and resolve performance, stability, and reliability issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and development processes.
